Mission & Vision
Vision
At Dance Revolution Studio, we see dance as a means for growth and connection. We believe that the true joy of dance comes when you effortlessly master the techniques and execute every movement with ease and precision. Therefore, we focus on HOW you do things rather than WHAT you do. What’s the point of knowing a thousand figures if they don’t work out half of the time?
Instead of sticking to one dance style, we draw from a wealth of styles that we have learned and mastered. This way, we don’t stick to the rules of a particular dance style but combine knowledge from various styles to create a boundary-crossing and innovative approach to dance. Our vision is to be an inclusive community where dancers of all levels can grow and discover their unique path in the dance world.
Mission
Our mission at Dance Revolution Studio is to welcome dancers of all levels and help them grow in every aspect. Every step forward is a step in the right direction. We want to pass on the joy of dance because there is something in it for everyone. We don't dictate what that is but offer you the opportunity to discover it yourself. We strive to create a community where everyone feels safe, seen, and valued. By teaching the right techniques and combining knowledge from different dance styles, we aim to help each dancer reach their full potential, regardless of their background or experience, so they can enjoy even more what we have in common: the love for dance!
Our Teachers
Paul – Bachata Instructor
Paul started his dance journey in 2013 as a semi-competitive ballroom and Latin dancer. In 2017, he transitioned into the world of social dancing, diving into salsa and bachata. Since 2022, his full focus has been on bachata. He has danced and trained in cities such as Erlangen, Dresden, Tallinn, Geneva, and Madrid (Esencia Studios), and has attended countless festivals and socials across Europe. This diversity of influences is reflected in his style: musical, playful, and always full of surprises.
At his core, Paul is a passionate social dancer. In his classes, connection is key — to the music, to your partner, and to yourself. His teaching style is structured, dynamic, and fun, empowering students to speak the physical language of dance. With a combination of technical depth and intuitive understanding of bachata music and connection,
Paul trains dancers who feel confident and joyful on any social dance floor.
Phillip - UrbanKizz Instructor
Born and raised in Brazil — the country outside Africa with the deepest African cultural roots — dancing has been part of his life from an early age, learned at home and in the community. Upon arriving in Europe, he discovered Kizomba and UrbanKizz, and since then, has fully dedicated himself to mastering and contributing to the global UrbanKizz scene. He continues to learn and grow through direct exchanges with the most respected and influential artists in the field.
His teaching is rooted in the belief that creativity in dance is like a flower — it only grows in fertile soil. In UrbanKizz, that fertile ground is a solid technical foundation. His classes emphasize technique, passion, and consistency, creating space for dancers to evolve and express themselves with confidence.
For him, dance is a powerful social experience — a way to deepen your connection to yourself and to others. A favorite quote captures this vision perfectly: “Dance is the art in which our bodies are the raw material.”
Suus - Salsa & Bachata Instructor
Suus has always had a profound love for dancing. At the age of four, she caught the dance bug — it all started with classical ballet. Dancing, singing, and music were her first loves in life, and it turned out to be a perfect, never-ending love story.
As she grew older, her curiosity led her to explore a wide variety of dance styles — and so she did: modern dance, jazz, streetdance, hip-hop, latin, ballroom, and even line dancing (for a hot minute). Over the years, she has performed in countless shows across all these styles.
Her passion for dancing, learning new skills, and the drive to keep growing has never faded. In 2021, she discovered three more styles to add to her skill set: salsa, bachata, and kizomba. She now proudly calls herself addicted to these dances — and, in her words, “there’s no coming back from it!”
Suus’ core values in dance are connection, passion, emotion, flow, intention, and great energy. This is what she brings to every class — along with a sense of joy and playfulness.
In dance, we meet and have a conversation without words. Together, we walk the beautiful path called dancing.
Did you know that dance can also be a form of therapy? Personal growth is part of the journey too. It’s a way back to yourself.
“I wasn’t looking for therapy, I was just looking for Dance. But Dance knew better.
Dance didn’t ask me if I was ready — it just opened me, little by little.
Because when you dance, you can’t hide, you have to feel, get close, trust, breathe.
Let something move inside you and not run away.
That’s when the healing starts — right there on the dance floor.”
